About Us

Founded by Al and Nancy Borzillo in 1964, A.J. Borzillo has been building superior custom homes for 50 years. Exceptional quality and service has given A. J. Borzillo the reputation it has. Working in both residential and commercial construction has made us very versatile. Residential construction makes up about 80% of our business. We are very flexible in the type of home we build. We have developed and built homes in small subdivisions as well as large custom homes throughout the St. Louis area.  Mike Borzillo became President of A.J. Borzillo sixteen years ago. As a child, Mike remembers visiting construction sites with his father as early as four years old. By age 16, Mike was working in the family business. He became a laborer during high school and worked in the company business as a carpenter for 18 years. Being a second-generation homebuilder with a solid working background in the industry allows Mike to give that extra value and expertise you are looking for in a custom homebuilder.
